NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dear Member,

Please be informed that the Annual General Meeting of the Institute will take place at 5.00 p.m. Sharp on Thursday October 20th 2011 at the Department of Geomatics Engineering and Land Management (Ground Floor), University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

• Committee of Management/Secretary's Report
• Financial Report
• Election of Officers to the Committee of Management
• Election of the Auditor
• Election of four (4) Land Surveyors to be nominated to the Land Survey Board
• Election of five (5) Land Surveyors to be nominated to the Disciplinary Committee of the Land Survey Board
• General business

NB Registration of financial members will begin at 5.00 p.m. and only members who are financial, can be elected or allowed to vote.

Please also note that because of the present State of Emergency and curfew in certain areas our Annual Christmas Dinner will not take place this year. However, as usual refreshments will be served at the AGM. The AGM will also begin promptly at 5:30 pm to accommodate the SoE.

Members are asked to make every effort to attend, as your participation and contributions are important to advancing our profession.
