MARTYN BOULD is Chairman of Rider Levett Bucknall and the Bould Consulting Group is based in Grand Cayman, and provides project management, quantity surveying, construction claim and dispute resolution services to an extensive range of public and private clients throughout the Caribbean. With over forty years' experience working in the region, Mr. Bould has written extensively in the international professional press and the Caribbean media on development and construction and has served as an arbitrator, expert witness and mediator in construction disputes.

GERALD KATZ  is a partner in the law firm of Katz & Stone, L.L.P., with offices in the Washington, D.C. area. He specialises in representing clients in the resolution of complex construction disputes through mediation, arbitration and litigation. His practice includes advising clients on contract negotiations, performance problems (for example, changes, delays and acceleration) and the documentation and pricing of claims for delay, lost productivity and variations.  Mr. Katz also serves as an arbitrator and speaks frequently to construction industry professionals on such topics as construction risk management, negotiating construction contracts, construction claims, design professional liability and construction insurance issues.
 

Messrs. Bould and Katz have presented many seminars on construction issues throughout the Caribbean region including a number of in-house programmes for CCAS clients. In addition, CCAS has presented seminars to UDeCOTT, the Education Facilities Company Limited and Petrotrin in Trinidad and to CARILEC and the Government of St. Lucia, Ministry of Communications, Works, Transport and Public Utilities. seminars have also been presented in the CaymanIslands, Barbados and Bermuda.
