The Institute of Surveyors of Trinidad and Tobago was established in 1996 by the amalgamation of the Land Survey Association, Quantity Surveying Society of Trinidad and Tobago and ProVal (the Association of the Valuation Surveyors).

The aims of the Institute are to support the needs and requirements of its Members; to develop and promote the surveying profession; and to foster links and good relations with other professional organizations.
